EV 1-2-3 Charge is the complimentary charging program provided by Ford Motor Company to eligible customers residing in California and Maryland who purchase or lease a 2016 model year Ford C-MAX Energi Plug-In Hybrid vehicle after October 1, 2015 and before October 1, 2016, from an authorized Ford EV Certified dealership. EV 1-2-3 Charge provides unlimited* four-hour sessions of complimentary level 2 (240V) charging at over 500 participating NRG EVgo and SemaConnect public chargers for three years, which is the length of a typical lease, with a single card. Additional fees may apply for connect times in excess of 4 hours, and there is a 60 minute disconnection required between charging sessions.
2016 model year Ford C-MAX Energi Plug-In Hybrid customers who provide identification showing a California or Maryland address during the purchase process will receive an EV 1-2-3 Charge Welcome Packet including the access card in the mail 5-10 business days after the purchase/lease date and will have the opportunity to complete registration in the program online at EV123Charge.com to activate the Access Card.
It’s easy. When you receive your EV 1-2-3 Charge card in the mail, just go to EV123charge.com and follow the simple steps. NOTE: to enroll, you will need the last eight characters of your 2016 model year C-MAX Energi Plug-In Hybrid VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and your EV 1-2-3 Charge Access Card serial number (located on the back of the Access Card).

The EV 1-2-3 Charge card is delivered at no cost to the vehicle owner. Upon registration, drivers will be asked to provide a credit card in the event a charge connection exceeds the four hour complimentary charging session or if the disconnect time between charging session is less than 60 minutes and additional fees are assessed.
The Ford EV 1-2-3 Charge program offers unlimited* four hour charging sessions at participating stations. A 60-minute disconnection interval is required between charging sessions to allow other drivers an opportunity to use the charging station. Charging beyond the complimentary 4 hours per charging session, or a repeat session before the 60-minute wait time, will incur additional fees at the rate of $3 per hour.

Customers have the option of subscribing to the NRG EVgo network at the completion of the 3 year complimentary period (NRG EVgo rates/costs apply at the conclusion of the complimentary period. Customers will not be auto-subscribed at the conclusion of the 3 year complimentary period to extend the membership)
Currently, the EV 1-2-3 Charge offer is only available to 2016 model year Ford C-MAX Energi Plug-In Hybrid owners who provide a driver’s license verifying a home address in California or Maryland during the purchase process.

The EV 1-2-3 Charge Access Card is for charging the 2016 model year Ford C-MAX Energi Plug-In Hybrid, so family members can use the same card only for the vehicle with which it is associated. Violation of this provision may result in the deactivation of your card and the forfeiture of your program benefits.
